Several contributors over at A Martha Heart have written letters recently to themselves in the past, wishing to impart a nugget or two of wisdom that they wish they'd had in their younger years. I took a different angle on this idea and wrote a letter to myself a few years in the future.
Read the article here.
I hope you had a blessed Easter.

Your dachshund might be spoiled if…
… she finds your clean sheets in a laundry basket to use for a bed and you just say, “Awww… aren’t you so cute.”
Frankie is fifteen years old.
She was recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure.
She is on a daily cocktail of medication to keep the fluid drained away from her heart and out of her lungs.
Even still, she doesn’t breathe very well.
We’re pretty sure her heart pumps blood in equal amounts in both directions.
And she’s deaf as a post.
So… I’m sure you’ll understand when I am a little more indulgent than usual.
Boy-howdy, is she spoiled rotten.

Celebrating Passover at A Martha Heart
While you’re tapping your fingers and waiting impatiently for pictures of the finished kitchen (believe me, so am I), join me over at A Martha Heart today as I talk about celebrating Passover in a Christian home.
****
As we embark on this most holy week leading up to the celebration of Resurrection Sunday, I want to remind you of another occasion that you may want to consider observing. Passover.
Yes. You heard me right. Passover.
No. I’m not Jewish. As I’ve said before, I’m a Protestant believer in Christ. A Gentile, even. But I am one who has, for several years, observed Passover with my family in some form.
